CP635 Touch Panel

The CP635 is a 7-inch TFT touch screen operator panel from ABB's CP600 series of HMIs, providing a modern color display and versatile communication interfaces for industrial machines. It features a 7.0″ wide-format TFT LCD with 64k colors and a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels (WVGA). The touch screen is resistive and supports intuitive graphical user interactions. The CP635 comes with multiple communication ports: dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, one serial port configurable as RS-232/422/485, two USB host ports, and an SD card slot for data storage/logging. With 256 MB of user program memory and 128 MB of user data flash, the panel can run ABB's PB610 Panel Builder runtime for advanced graphics and control. The device supports password-protected user levels (up to 8 levels) to secure critical operations. It has a robust construction (front panel rated IP66) suitable for mounting in control cabinets and panels, while the rear housing is IP20. The CP635 HMI operates from a 100–240 VAC power input (with an internal converter) and can function in ambient temperatures from 0 to +50 °C. This HMI enables dynamic visualization of PLC data, alarm handling, recipe management, and multi-language displays on machinery. It is fully programmable with ABB's Panel Builder software and supports vector graphics (SVG) and animations for rich UI design.
