SIN8-M18N-V2 Proximity Sensor

The SIN8-M18N-V2 is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from ABB (Jokab) designed to detect metal objects without physical contact. It is an M18 threaded sensor, non-flush (non-embeddable) mount, with an 8 mm nominal sensing distance. This sensor operates on 10–30 V DC supply and comes in various output configurations: for instance, the "-NK" variant is a 2-wire DC, normally-open sensor that can be wired in series with a load (suitable for direct connection in safety circuits or PLC inputs). Other versions like "-PO" or "-PK" provide 3-wire outputs (PNP or NPN, NO or NC) to interface with standard control systems. The SIN8-M18N-V2 features a stainless steel sensing face and brass nickel-plated body for durability. It has LED indication for target detection and output status.
