The DATX110 is a legacy ABB control I/O board that provides a combination of digital and analog I/O channels for industrial automation systems. Commonly used in older ABB drive and control systems, the DATX110 board offers 8 input channels (configurable for digital or analog input signals) and 4 digital output channels, allowing it to interface with various sensors and actuators. It is powered by a 24 V DC supply and typically mounted inside a control cabinet or drive unit. The board features a mix of opto-isolated digital inputs and analog input circuitry (0–10 V, 4–20 mA, etc.), as well as transistor or relay outputs for digital control. With a 12-bit input resolution for analog signals, the DATX110 can accurately acquire process values for the controller. This board was designed for robust operation in legacy ABB systems, contributing to data acquisition, control output, and signal conversion tasks. It has a sturdy construction and connectors to integrate with the main control processor. (Note: The DATX110 has been discontinued by ABB, but it was widely used in earlier AC drive and process control installations.)
